Mainly, I'm a voice actor (amateur of course) and a writer (just online). If you want to look at my VA resume, you can find it at "http://snakeyukin.s ite90.com". Other than that, I occasionally do sprite animations... one per every decade.

I've recently started a forum for all who are creative and want to show off their works, want to find works to read/view, or just want to discuss about creativity. This site is geared towards all creative means: art, writing, music, animation, games, etc. Right now it is extremely small with only a few members. Please help to make the site grow, all will be welcomed.

Creative Club Forum

Hope to see you there.

So, I finally finished the 1st skit in my animation, now I have several more to go. I have an idea for a second one, but I can't find the animated bg for it. So me might have to drop it. We'll find out soon.

Yeah, I didn't have that much trouble with the '09 demo that I uploaded on other sites, sorry newgrounds. The problem was, that for some odd reason, there were two versions of the audio playing for a few characters. So all I had to do was delete one of the two, and then it was set. Another thing I did, which is only up on newgrounds (now you feel special), is I changed one of the voices to my evil/bad guy voice as it was a better voice than my other.
If you haven't yet, go check it out, review it, don't give it a vote that'll make it go away, and enjoy.

I'm just starting to figure out, doing sprite flashes are annoying, especially if you have only a sheet for the characters. For you who don't know about sprite animations, let me explain. To get the sprites, you usually find sprite sheets online from some site, yet they are grouped together. So you have to crop the individual poses from the sheet and sometimes, the bg isn't transparent, so you'll have to do that as well. Just the monotonous pace of crop, paste, and repeat get really annoying. Working on putting it into flash is at least a little bit funner.
I know it might be annoying for original flashes (constantly having to draw and possibly redo drawings), but I'm not doing those... if only I could draw well. But I'm only writing this, because I actually believe I had no problem with this when I did the original Phoenix Rongo. I don't know why it wasn't annoying then, but it wasn't, I had no problem doing it.
But I'm not writing this only because of the flash, it also involves some of my VA stuff, mainly my site. Recently, I've found out that my current VA demo for '09 was corrupted or something because it had an echo/delayed effect on nearly all of the voices and I know it didn't have that originally when I put it up. Also, that wasn't restricted to the ones online, even the one on my computer was screwy, so I don't know what happened.
Another is that my VA resume site is apparently down for some reason. I can log-in alright to my account, I have received notice of it being removed, or notice that it's being checked.
So the two main things I have to help show off my experience and voice (outside of auditions) are gone till this is fixed. I can easily fix the demo and do another one (though I don't want to but I most) it won't help the fact that the site I have the link to my demo at is down. The world is just out against me, but I did get another role today I think and I have a few things to look forward to: two being on newgrounds that I know of.
That's all for my rant for now. Later readers.

About two years ago, I finished my first and only flash animation which involved sprites. It was back in 2007 and was around the time of the Phoenix Wrong craze. I enjoyed watching these. At the same time in school, I was starting to learn some basic stuff in flash from my web design class. So, I decided to try a sprite flash animation, as I'm not the best at drawing, especially online. I finished it and it was better than I thought and my friends liked it, so I decided to upload it online, which got average ratings online.
Shortly after that, I had plans to do Phoenix Rongo 2, which would hopefully be better than the original one. This idea came and went several times these last two years. I would get clips I would use, maybe even a few sprites I would use, but then other stuff would come up and I wouldn't feel like doing it. I haven't thought about doing it in several months.
However, lately, I've decided to try to go for it and do it. Hopefully this time it'll be a lot better, less static, and such. Along with that, I'm planning on inserting not just clips from shows/movies/comedians/etc, but also original ones done by me. So hopefully the fact I'll be doing some voices for my own thing will help me finish this animation this time.
More news to come soon, hopefully this weekend maybe. I hope to get some scenes started this weekend, but I'm not sure if I'll get to it or not, guess I can force myself to. Oh well, till then, later any who dare read this.
